Returns & Policies

 

Shipping:  

All orders are shipped from Canada via Canada Post / USPS within 1-2 business days of cleared payment.  Your 8x10 print is carefully packaged in a stiff flat mailer so it will reach its destination safely.  Larger prints are shipped in tubes.  While most orders shipping outside of Canada take approximately 7-10 business days to arrive, occasionally transit times can vary and are out of my control.  

Regular mail shipments do not have tracking.  If you require tracking please see the express shipping options below. 

Express Shipping Options:

8x10 Prints: If you require expedited shipping or tracking, we offer 3-4 business day shipping to the US for an additional $18 and to Canada for $14.  Please note that the post office does not count the day shipped as a business day.  For example, if you place an order on Tuesday June 20th and the print is shipped Wednesday June 21st, the first business day for shipment would be Thursday June 22nd and the print would be expected to arrive either Monday June 26th or Tuesday June 27th.

Overnight shipping via courier is $39.  (USA & Canada Only)  Please contact us at birdave@birdave.com to request overnight shipping prior to ordering. 

11x14 and 16x20 Prints:  Expedited shipping with tracking is available for an additional $11.   Shipping is approximately 5 business days, but can vary based on post office speed. (USA & Canada Only)

Customs:  

All prints are 100% made in Canada.  For shipments to the US and Mexico, there should not be any customs charges as the prints are covered under NAFTA.  If customs charges to apply, they are the responsibility of the receiver.  For countries outside of the NAFTA region, applicable customs charges are the responsibility of the receiver. 

Gift Options:  

If you are sending your item as a gift, we offer gift notes and gift packaging at no charge.  Upon checkout, please leave a note as to the type of gift and your desired message.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're sorry to hear that; however, simply return the item to us in its original unused condition within 28 days of receipt. Please contact us at birdavestudio@gmail.com before returning an item.

Address Errors:  

If packages are returned with an incorrect address, failure to pick up at post office notice, or incorrect apartment buzzer name, etc. We ask that you pay for shipping to the new correct address.  The reshipment charge will reflect only our direct cost of postage. 
Returned items should be unused and must be returned in original packaging. We will issue a full refund on receipt, excluding the original delivery charge. Alternatively, if preferred, we will also be happy to exchange the item. 
Please note: 
Goods will only be accepted for return if they are returned within 28 days of delivery, unless we have notified you otherwise. 
The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. Delivery charges are only refundable where goods are faulty and a refund is made. 
Please also note we will refund an item if it is faulty, after a thorough check of the item. Please allow 7 working days for a refund to be processed.
